Endure the Hard Stuff to Get to the Easy Stuff
How to become successful at anything
“Be willing to be uncomfortable. Be comfortable being uncomfortable. It may get tough, but it’s a small price to pay for living a dream.” -Peter McWilliams
If you were to ask almost anyone what they want to achieve with their time on this planet, the answer will probably be something like this:
“I want to be happy, explore the world, have a great family and work a job I enjoy.”
The question then is: Why is everyone not living this life?
Simple: Most people just aren’t willing to endure pain and sacrifice to make it happen. They want the rewards but aren’t willing to pay the costs.
The issue, however, is there is no effortless way to win success. You will not magically wake up to everything you’ve ever wanted. In order to get to the easy stuff, you must endure the hard stuff.
As Benjamin P. Hardy has said,
“You’ve got to work a few years like few people will so you can spend the rest of your life like few people can.”
