At our current moment, the world is full of inauthenticity.

You see it in your news feeds, in your workplace, and on the street; people are wearing masks.

They are putting up a facade and pretending to be someone they’re not in order to be liked and chosen.

We have built a culture that rewards conformity and punishes individuality.

As James Altucher once wrote,

“When we are not chosen, we feel bad. When we are chosen — even by idiots — we feel good. We need to unlearn this imprisonment. Not dissect and analyze it. Just completely unlearn it.”
