I Just Turned 22: Here’s the Lessons I Learned From Another Year

What a whirlwind it’s been. Last year I wrote, “21 Lessons Learned From 21 Years of Living.”

And while it has in fact, only been a year, I feel like I’ve experienced 5 years.

That’s the funny thing about time, as Einstein’s relatively theory explains; the faster an object moves, the slower time goes.

Thus, the faster and further you move in a desired direction, the slower time moves for you.

Hence, you very well can live 10 years of life in one. How much life you experience is entirely up to.

This article will explore a few of the thoughts I’ve had and the lessons I’ve learned from 21 to 22.

Here we go.

  • If something doesn't add to your life, it will subtract it. Small things become big things, always. Don’t justify moderation; just get rid of it.
  • The only way to change behavior is to change your environment. As BJ Fogg said, “Design beats willpower.” Hence, when you create the conditions that make your goals inevitable, you very well can become whoever you intend to be.
  • You’re never going to feel fully “ready” to live the life you know you should. Instead, you have to throw yourself into the deep end and go to the next level of your
