If You’re Procrastinating, You’re Likely Unsure of These 4 Things

Christopher Parker has a quote that says, “Procrastination is like a credit card: it’s a lot of fun until you get the bill.”

Of course, the message is simple: Procrastination is something that may be temporally rewarding. However, overtime the costs stack up and eventually you end up paying a very steep price for your actions.

For example, think about where you could be if you’d started what you’ve been putting off last week? What about if you’d started it last month, last year or even 10 years ago?

Indeed, there will always be a cost or consequence for pursuing one thing over another; no choice is free. Says Dr. Benjamin P. Hardy,

“When you say yes to anything, you say no to almost everything else. Every choice has embedded opportunity cost. Every choice is very costly. Saying yes isn’t free.”

Thus, you need a filter. You need a system for discerning what’s most important and what’s not. This article is intended to steer you in the direction towards that. Here we go.
