I was reading this and then you hit the nail on the head when you said “trying to make our children’s life better then our own or when we grew up.”

I think absolutely its mostly the way people are bringing up their kids. Most kids are being given whatever they want; the new shoes, the flash car, the tuition paid schooling.

They don’t understand the concept of hard work, and that’s not going to get them very far in life. Anything worth Attaining requires doing the hard work.

Like you said, if you want something, go earn it.
