Yes, Everyone Can Be an Entrepreneur. Here’s Why

Dispelling the myth that entrepreneurs are somehow “special” or “born different.”

Many people hold the false belief that everyone can’t be an entrepreneur. They like to throw words around like, “The economy needs employees,” “Not everyone’s made to be an entrepreneur,” or “There aren’t enough opportunities to go around.”

However, this is an old myth that needs to be dispelled. In truth, everyone can be an entrepreneur. Here’s why.

People Only Look for a “Job” Because They’ve Taught to

“School is a factory, and the output of that factory is compliant workers who buy a lot of stuff. These students are trained to dream small dreams.” -Seth Godin

Someone like Gary Vaynerchuk may be a great and successful entrepreneur. However, his view on getting into the business is totally wrong. In his opinion, entrepreneurs are “born, not made.”

Although, this is a completely bogus and limiting view. You are never defined by what you can or cannot do at birth. Instead, you shape yourself through the experiences and information you consume. As Zig Ziglar writes,
